MAY Monthly Challenge "Mental Health Awareness"
The month of May is the observance of Mental Health Awareness. I encourage you to take the time to familiarize yourself or spread awareness of mental health. Typically when we hear "health", we think about our heart, weight, cholesterol levels etc. What we fail to realize our mental health is just as important as our physical health. The stigmas of mental health make individuals fearful to talk about or seek help. So here is your challenge this month... Take the time for you! Take the time to learn more about mental health. Take the time to talk to someone about mental health. Take the time time to listen to someone who may be considering getting help. The only way we can break the stigmas associated with mental health is to take action. Take the challenge but taking the time!
